"The property is simply stunning. It’s so charming and the staff are wonderful. It’s a 20 min walk from the Main Street in Franschoek or a few pounds in an Uber. Don’t use the recommended car service from the hotel as it was 3 x more expensive than an Uber. Out toom eas lovely with a small kitchen are and separate dressing room and bathroom with both a huge bath and a separate shower. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the views even better! "

Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility. "

"We stayed in one of the Forest cottage. We loved the grounds of the hotel and the gardens were so beautiful. We booked late and the only room available was one of the cottages. We found the decor to be very dated including the bathroom and it had no air con. The bathroom taps were very stiff. The pool area for these cottages felt like it needed updating/cleaned and the lounger covers on the chairs were in need of a clean and quite dirty. Overall we were quite disappointed with the accommodation....

"We had a lovely stay at Mirabelle guesthouse for 3 nights. It was conveniently located for the town for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great and the warm blueberry muffins were a daily treat. Elmarie was an amazing host and made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend staying here."

The apartment was perfect and in a great location for experiencing everything the town has to offer- walking distance to the shops, restaurants, wine tram, and grocery store. The spectacular views of the mountain range are uninterrupted from both the rooms and the pool area. It’s unpretentious but certainly delivers a unique experience. "
